Pat Blymyer and "The Wig"

Okay, so I may not have this completely correct but first off, you gotta laugh.   What's up with the wig?

Mom, of course, was a hairdresser, and had many wigs in her kit for various movies and such.

Somehow, Pat became attached to this one.   It might be that his head was cold or he was driving down the road and felt like putting it on to be silly. Whatever it was, it sure made us laugh when we turned around and he had it on.    Then he'd speak to you seriously and once again wonder why you couldn't really concentrate on what he was telling you.

Oddly, It was one of his favorite things.    Just because.   I mean look at the big smile on his face!      And so, that doesn't really explain why he had the wig but does that really matter?

Once again, Pat being Pat.

It was because a good comedian never tells the same joke in the same way twice. He knew when he'd found something unique, and could balance it with all the other moments in his life, because somehow he actually remembered every other moment in his life and could nuance an effect in relation to every other nuance.
That takes a person with a perfect emotional memory of every heartbeat.
    So there you go.
