Merry Christmas Pat!

Missed you today.

We had dinner outside this afternoon, you would have loved it, 75 degrees, shorts weather!

We had some laughs, told a few stories.  Was a good day.

Oh, we watched you on the Monkees Christmas Special this morning!  So much fun to see you come out onto the stage and wave.

Now we are all snuggled in the living room watching a movie, I think you'd like it.  "Saving Mr. Banks".   :)

The Colors of Fall - October 2013

Hello Pat.   I've been meaning to write but time is flying by!

Just a couple days ago Snowvillage Inn posted a beautiful picture of the leaves starting to turn back there in New Hampshire...reminded me of this picture of you!

So many pretty colors.  :)

Summer went by, with visits and bbqs and work.   It's been quite the year of good and positive things happening...meeting new wonderful people to work with and having all of our family healthy and happy.    I spent time back east with the family there and they came this way to spend some time here.

A couple New Hampshire things - Phil Kelly died unexpectedly.   Very sad.   Made all of us remember all the times at the Eaton Village Store telling stories, having burgers.   Having our Snowville Tea Company luncheons with you, me and Janet Milliken.   

Then on the other side of things, Nancy Burns surprised me with a visit to Sony last week where I'm working.   She and Tom were passing through California, stopped by to see Mom in Ojai and then spent a few hours at the studio, I gave them a private tour of  what I knew of Sony/MGM.   :0

Anyway, I've always got a Pat story for almost everything...haha...you're just always around.   Course I wish you really were around but maybe you are.   I think you are.

I'm hoping this new show I'm on does great, Welcome to the Family it's called.   All the cast and crew are really great, we'd like to stay together for awhile!    We will soon find out.    

That's about it.   Life is normal, not a whole lot to report.   So as you might say on the telephone.  Be. Brief.

Happy Birthday Pat! May 20, 2013

Happy Birthday Pat! 

 (you'd be 75 today but this old picture says you're 86!)

Well, hope you're having a wonderful day today up there in the clouds.  It was a beautiful day for you down here.   

So life is good...it's been quite an eventful few months...good events!   Got a pilot...then got a show 'The Fosters', then the pilot got picked up 'Welcome to the Family'...and just learned today that I got  picked up too!  You're good luck! That starts in August.   I'm all set for a while!

But in the meantime among all that...I've gotten calls for a couple movies...more details about that when I learn more.  It's exciting stuff!

By the way, rumor has it, that you are involved...yep, I was told that there was someone who is no longer with us that is working hard to give me all these new opportunities.   I only know one person who loves this show business enough to help me this much.  Thanks for that.  Wish you were here to talk to about them but you're too busy making it all happen!   I'll make you proud!

Let's see...my latest show there are some great teamsters who all love you - worked with you in the past.   One saw your bookmark on my desk and just smiled.   And then he told the next guy who came up to me and smiled...you make people remember happy moments.   You are their happy memory.

Mom is still working on writing more great scripts to add to my stock, she is determined to keep me moving once I start.   She's doing great, Mom's Day she was dressed in her flowered hat and Ajijic flowered dress...she, Laurie and I had a great lunch, you would have enjoyed it a lot.  

Tanya and Tom are coming to visit this week.   Brittany is now in Fresno for a few months, she'll be down to visit Mom.  Tyler is starting a new great job next week.   Connor successfully finished another year of college.   Patrick is off on location shooting a movie.   Laurie is busy keeping Mom in order and others.    The family is pretty okay.  You'd be happy.  

I did not win Powerball this past week.   It was 600 million or some insane amount.   But there are so many other fantastic things happening so what's a few million, right?   

I love you lots.   Miss you just as much as ever.   Thanks for waking me up last night btw...3A it was you, wasn't it?

Happy St Patrick's Day 2013

Hello Pat!      And Happy St. Patrick's Day.   Time has been flying by this year but as always not a day goes by that something or someone reminds me of you.   Seriously, not one day.   And often I think to myself 'What would Pat do?" And sometimes that helps.

This video/song came on today, one that I put in your memorial music.   It really is true that sometimes you need someone to stand by you.   And you always did stand by me.    Take a listen, I love this.

As I was saying, this year is already flying by...so much happening...hopefully soon I will be posting about all the new and amazing things but until then, I hope you are taking long walks up there in the clouds and smiling.

PS  We lost another one of the 728 brothers last month, Ted Marshall...he's probably bringing you muffins.   He sure told me some fun stories about his time with you.  :)
